In Key Stage 4 pupils follow recognised accredited courses. These include Entry Level attainments in English, Mathematics, Science (AQA), Food Studies, Personal and Social Development, P.E., R.E, M.F.L (Spanish), and all pupils study Computing to GCSE equivalence. Pupils who are judged to be able (academically and emotionally), access GCSEs in some subjects, usually Maths and Science.

It is the intention that all pupils are provided with vocational training (Personalised Learning Programmes or PLPs) on an accredited course using outside training providers (currently Eric Wright Learning Foundation, Preston's College and through links with Myerscough College).

Functional skills in English, Mathematics and ICT have been delivered from September 2010.

The vocational learning, functional skills and PSD (ASDAN) constitute the three elements of Foundation Learning which are delivered in full.

Year 11 are working hard towards accreditation in all their subjects. They have been going to college and have been going to Preston City Trampolining Club to make and perform routines for their ASDAN qualification and their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Pupils have been volunteering in school by helping to support younger pupils at clubs. Good luck in all your exams and keep working hard!
